We're very excited to announce that Eye For An Eye has been nominated for Best Short Screenplay at The Pittsburgh Moving Picture Festival! Results will be announced at the festival this Sunday, May 19th, at The Lindsay Theater and Cultural Center.
We were also selected to be included in The Love & Hope International Film Festival in Barcelona, Spain in September. Our short script was submitted and we are thrilled in anticipation for this event! We are still crowdfunding on Indiegogo for the final two weeks of the campaign. We need your help to meet our goals. Actor, Tom Proctor, has so graciously offered to contribute autographed memorabilia from any of his films to donors that contribute $25 or more to this campaign. This perk is in addition to all of the aforementioned perks currently offered. Please click this link to make a contribution (even $5 will help us reach our goal!) igg.me/at/eyeforaneye/x/34461148#/updates/all We would also like to thank actor, Rich Henkels, for his testimonial and contribution. Please be sure to check out his work as well as his creation, Actors Think Tank, a resource for actors everywhere. We have a couple interviews in LA lined up as well and will keep you posted on their release dates. Eye For An Eye is set to film in November in Arizona. Our main cast is mostly confirmed (we will be casting two principal roles towards the end of summer). Our DP, Bernie Tarin, is confirmed to shoot. We have our stunt coordinator, Alan Marquez, from Mexico lined up. Our horses are ready for the project. Our first official producer is on board, Desiree Ekundayo, and we thank her for her support and contribution. She will also take part in the film! Our lovely hairstylist, Christina Koscal, and makeup artist, Karla Bowers, will be the HMU team during production. Our creative producer, script editor and co star, Kat Kemmet, will be coming in from LA/NYC to shoot. This short will be used to promote the full feature length version we plan to film the following year. But we needs funds raised and awareness of our project to get distribution opportunities and a much bigger budget to do this project justice for the feature. So far our script is doing well in the festival circuit. We're confident our short will too, but we need your help to get there. Please take a moment to contribute your time, or donate just $5, or share our posts. We love the support and enthusiasm for this project so far and would love to have you be a part of the movie making magic. Whether in person or in spirit, we need you all. Nothing can get done alone, and the making of films truly takes a village to do it right. Until next time!
